Risks and Liability
Using the rowing bicycle
By using a rowing bicycle, the rider (hereinafter referred to as the “rower”) assumes a certain risk of accidents (just like with any other bicycle). The rower must check the condition of the entire rowing bicycle (for example, tires) before rowing. It is the rower's own responsibility to go rowing, including the speeds at which they ride and the risks they take. Thijs Industrial Designs cannot be held liable for damage to the rower, rowing bicycle, or third parties that may result from a rowing bicycle accident and/or material defect as this can never be excluded 100%.
Test riding, renting, or borrowing a (rowing) bicycle from Thijs Industrial Designs
The use of the rowing bicycle is always explicitly at the user's own risk. The user is always liable for damage, loss, or theft of the borrowed or rented item unless there is a clear cause or reason attributable to a wrongful act or omission by Thijs. By accepting a test ride, loan or rental bicycle, the renter agrees to this explicit condition.
